Dark of the Moon Camaro and Double A Commercials
As is often the case with big blockbuster movies, there are commercial tie-ins and Transformers: Dark of the Moon is no exception. The Camaro commercial has been airing in theatres for a week or so but yesterday it finally aired on TV during the MTV Movie Awards right after the "Cover Up" TV spot. The commercial is called "Chevy Getaway" and now available in HD (below). In addition, an extended sequence involving Laserbeak transforming from a copier is part of a new ad (below but no HD) for Australian product Double A paper complete with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee ads. Thanks to Teddy83, Winston, and Carlos for the heads-up.Movie Movie Awards' DOTM TV Spot (Updated)
A new TV spot aired during the MTV Movie Awards and Game 3 of the NBA Finals that has a few new scenes. Speaking of the awards, Bumblebee was on hand in both car and robot mode as part of the Movie Awards Exclusive props that included the Breaking Dawn invitations (pics 1-10), Captain America shield (11), Red Skull bike (12), and Green Lantern props (13-15). The cast of Transformers: Dark of the Moon was also on hand to present Best Fight Award which was won by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Click here for recap of awards, here for list of winners. Hopefully MTV Movie Awards 2012 will be full of DOTM love.Update: MB.com has posted the HD version of the trailer.

New Transformers: DOTM TV Spot "Biggest Adventure" (Updated)
A new TV spot for Transformers: Dark of the Moon has been posted online. Unlike previous ones, this one has a bunch of new scenes including a shot of Wheelie, Shia at work, one of the alt modes for Laserbeak, and more. Thanks to MV for the link.
Updates: Swapped out video with better quality and sound. Thanks to Deathstroke_87.
Update 2: Thanks to Nelson of MB.com, the HD version is now available. Or was.
Update 3: MB.com's video was pulled but Dune (thanks) found another location. The lack of a title/credits at the end probably was why so expecting the "fixed" version to be up in a few days.

Dark of the Moon Birdmen TV Spot
Two new TV spots have popped up on line. As promised here is the promised 60 second "Birdmen" spot that is a shortened version of the behind the scenes video from MB.com. There was another TV spot posted but as the comments pointed out it is a fake so yanked it from the post.

Behind the Scenes of Birdmen
MichaelBay.com's Nelson has posted a behind the scenes video for the new TV spot Birdmen that will air soon for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The commercial and video covers the helicopter and building stunt jumps that where filmed in Chicago last year. As for the TV spot itself I suspect it will debut on Entertainment Tonight. DJ.BigtymeBeats reports seeing a commercial about a DOTM story they are going to run tonight. On a somewhat related note, Nelson has also tweeted hi-res, large file size images of Bumblebee, Megatron, and Optimus Prime but they are not from DOTM. Thanks to Feris Othman for the heads-up.Read More »
Dark of the Moon Chevy Commercial
A new Chevy commercial uses Transformers: Dark of the Moon footage that focuses on Bumblebee to promote the Chevy Camaro. Most of the cuts are from previous trailers but one part of it is little bit longer look at the Bumblebee Stealth mode. I saw this commercial last night before trailers started for Pirates 4 but doubt it is a movie specific thing. Safe to assume it will hit TV soon.Read More »
"Birdman" TV Spots to Debut June 1st (Updated)
MichaelBay.com admin Nelson has posted that the next TV spot for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is "A 15-sec & a 30-sec "Birdmen" ad will air globally June 1." Let the speculation begin on why "Birdmen" but I think has something to do with the NEST troops jumping. Should be interesting to see how TV spots may get released over the next month. Revenge of the Fallen had around 18 if I remember correctly.
Update: Nelson amended his update but with good news since have a better time frame for when will air (probably primetime) and ad will be longer.

I need to issue a correction.
In the US there will be a :60 TV "Birdmen:" ad/featurette that will run once on June 1 on Spike TV.
Then on June 2 we will have an extended "Birdmen" featurette on this site.
Two New TV Spots for Transformers: Dark of the Moon
The MichaelBay.com admin Nelson has posted the two TV spots that aired during the finale of American Idol. Most of the footage is from the previous trailers but each has a little bit of new. Thanks to AK-47 for heads-up.

Possible List of DOTM Trailer Dates?
A post over at the TFW2005.com has posted a possible list of names and dates for the trailers and TV spots that will be released for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. It seems reasonable on the surface. March 25th is the release date of Sucker Punch, April 3rd is when the controversial mini-series The Kennedy's will air on the Reelz Channel, and May 5th is Thor's release date. As usual take with grain of salt but at least have a ballpark date to pay attention to which is better than nothing. Thanks to DJ.Bigtyme Beats for the link.

DOTM Daytona 500 Ad in 1080p (HD)
As promised, Nelson has posted the 1080p HD version of the second TV spot for Transformers: Dark of the Moon that aired during the Daytona 500 this Saturday. He also provided a download link at MichaelBay.com but the file size is sizable for such a brief video. So far Yahoo! Movies and Apple Trailers have not posted the commercial.

Combined Super Bowl & Daytona 500 Trailer
For your entertainment, Valery T of Cinemotion has edited an extended trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon that combines all the non-repeat scenes in the Super Bowl and Daytona 500 commercials with a touch of the first teaser trailer. The result is a 44 second video of pure Transformer action.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon Daytona 500 TV Spot (Updated)
It turns out while Michael Bay, the Wreckers and others were at the Daytona 500, a new TV spot aired for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. It is about half identical to the Super Bowl commercial and half of new scenes. Starscream transforming and landing in front of Sam and Carly, Optimus Prime walking as cartridge pops out of gun toward screen, Sam & Carly moment, a voiceover (probably John Turturro) saying "...years from now they’re gonna ask where were you when they took over the planet", Epps yelling "Run!", Bumblebee in weapon mode, and the Wreckers. If you want to see a little footage of the Transformers crew at Daytona click here. Thanks to Ryan, Sahara, John, Kris, Rakeen and others for the heads-up.Update: Added above image Pixel Rally's Jeff that show one of the images he photographed with what was shown in the trailer. The image is part of the filming that occured at a Wabash and Lake parking deck in Chicago. Safe to say that bus going boom sequence involves Starscream trying to get Sam. The magic of Hollywood in action.
DOTM Super Bowl Trailer Rewind Theatre
IGN has posted an interesting video that breaks down the 30 second Transformers: Dark of the Moon Super Bowl TV Spot. About the only mistake I noticed was Ratchet being identified as Mudflap but the twin has a mostly black color scheme for the third film. Most of it fans have already figured out from screenshots but it doesn't hurt to have it spelled out more clearly. Thanks to DJ.Bigtyme Beats for the link.
Transformers 3 SuperBowl Teaser Is Here (Update 2)
The Superbowl ad for Transformers: Dark of the Moon has finally aired during the second quarter at the 11:01 mark in the game. It is pretty bad-a$@ with lots of robot action. As promised by MichaelBay.com has posted the ad, links below. For those who enjoy the game for the commercials, YouTube has the Adblitz channel for most of the Superbowl ads once they air. Thanks to NHLfan for the link.

Update:Here is a fantastic comparison shot from the beginning of the trailer with a picture that Jeff of Pixel Rally took when Transformers 3 was filming at the MPEA Busway in Chicago this summer. It shows what a great camera angle combined with color correction and CGI can produce.
Update 2: Here are 9 screenshots I gathered that show off moments on the Superbowl TV Spot. The first one is worth looking at just to see the destruction of the Chicago skyline with damaged, toppled and bent buildings. The next two show that Ironhide isn't colliding with one but both of the Suburban Dreads. The fourth shows more invasion destruction of Chicago. Fifth is a look at the worm thing. Sixth is Laserbeak complete with the homage to his G1 cassette look with turbines on his wings. The seventh pic shows Optimus Prime flying onto the scene (in front of Hotel 71) with Bumblebee and Ratchet on site. In the middle of that may be Soundwave but I think its just a drone that falls to Prime's blade in the next last two screenshots.

Transformers 3 Super Bowl Trailer Set
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Transformers: Dark of the Moon will have a TV trailer that will air during the Super Bowl XLV on February 6th. The movie will join trailers from Super 8, Thor, Captain American, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cowboys & Aliens and others. Rates for this year's Super Bowl ads are around $3 million per 30-second spot.Paramount also aired a Super Bowl trailer two years ago Revenge of the Fallen. Usually, due to the cost of the spot, the studios put together Super Bowl specific trailers so hopefully this will give us a real look at the upcoming movie and its story. Thanks to Rumah for the info.
