"Megatroptimus" has posted two pages worth of pics over at TFW2005 that covers the transformation of Voyager class Ironhide. Based on the pics, this is looking like a toy that might be worth getting and seems like a good representation of the movie version. I still can't tell well the "automorph technology" comes in.
