Transformers: Exodus should be hitting stores soon if it hasn't already and writer Alex Irvine provided MTV Movie Blog with a new short story that is not part of the novel. Hasbro considers the Transformers: War for Cybertron as canon for the early origin of "The Great War" and the relationships formed during it. I assume that could also apply to the book and the short story that explains exactly how Bumblebee lost his voice. The story also indicates that the movies and this origin are all part of the same continuity as there are references to the 13 Primes, AllSpark and more.
