Transformers 3 To Return to Gary

Transformers 3 principle photography more or less kicked off when it visited the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, Indiana back on April 12th and now it seems set to return to the city. According to the Post-Tribune, after Chicago wraps production will heads there around August 23rd. I assume after Gary is done, Detroit is the next stop on the TF3 production tour.
Gary's Board of Public Works and Safety agreed to let DW Studios Productions and Paramount Pictures film "Transformers 3" on property owned by Majestic Star Casino and at the publicly owned City Methodist Church at West 6th Avenue and Washington Street.

The filming will take place as early as next week but no later than Aug. 23, officials said. Al Cohn, location manager for DW Studios, said the filming dates depend on the movie's filming schedule and that of director Michael Bay.

DW and Paramount were also given permission to shoot a scene for "Transformers 3" in April at the former Lehigh cement plant owned by Majestic Star. Ben Clement, Gary's director of film and television, said the crew will also return to that location this month.
The last time TF3 production was in Gary, it was a closed set and pretty much no information came out. I assume that will be the case here as the property they are using is private, not public property, so they will have more authority to keep the public away. No indications if this will be second unit work like last time or if any of the cast is involved. I have a sneaking suspicion that the casino is where Agent Simmons and his assistant enter the picture. Thanks to zztopeurope for the link.
