The official website for Wizards of the Coast Transformers 3D Battle Card Game has launched. The game is apparently similar to Star Wars, Magic, etc in that use card attributes to do battle. Only in this case the plastic cards can be assembled into a robot or alt mode using punch out pieces. The site itself currently provide information about the game, what the cards and assembled figured looks like for about 5 of the 26 total designs. Probably to most interesting part is that the set includes Transformers not in the movie but follow the movie design such as Cliffjumper and Dropkick with no images yet of Protoform Bumblebee, Swerve (now an Autobot), and Dreadwing. I wonder if some of those designs are for the video game also.
Retail price is $3.99 for 4 randomly inserted cards (that can build to TFs), two stat cards, token card and game rules. The game will be released on June 2, 2007, the same date as the toy launch in retail stores.
